I am sorry to let you all know that Dr Popper, a fixture in Hushville for many years passed away early this morning after a short battle with gall bladder cancer.
John was an amazing man with a deep passion for Hushville, he served as mayor of our village for a number of years and was instrumental in building Hushville into what it is today. For those of you who knew him you will remember great conversations with him on a lot of different topics and his dreams for the future. He cared for everyone he met and was always willing to lend a hand. John will be missed.
I don't have any details on a memorial for him but I will post here any further information I find out.
Take a moment and raise a toast to Dr P, we have lost a great friend.
