As you would have seen when you registered to camp with us that this year we REQUIRE a minimum of 4 volunteer hrs from each of you. Many other camps charge dues and demand shifts be worked. Hushville has always operated on a no dues volunteer basis. We want that to continue.
Our placement every year depends on our interactivity that the Placement group see's from our village. So participating is NOT optional. Here are the ways you can participate.
1. Work a greeter shift
2. Work designated shifts for a BRC department, if you do
Not already have your shift allocation this is not an option
3. Host an event IN Hushville for the BRC community. Your event MUST be listed on our Events calendar on our website
4. Work on an existing event within Hushville (it is your responsibility to find an event to join. You can post in this discussion form under events to colaborate with others to put on an event)
5. Be an artist with art on playa
6. Be part of art support helping build an art project on playa
7. Work as a Temple guardian or on Man watch.
So you can see there are alot of options so find what works for you.
We do track volunteer efforts and your ability to camp in Hushville in future years depends on your involvement in 2025.
There is still time to plan an event and host it in our performance space on E street.
