Burning Man Guide for Virgins

Are you new to Burning Man? Feeling a little overwhelmed?

Every year I update my "Burning Man Fundamentals" guide -- a 14 page document that provides links to helpful resources and explains the fundamentals. I try to answer all the questions a newcomer might have without overwhelming anyone.

You can download it from Dropbox: https://bit.ly/2sFxl7Q

Feel free to share with anyone, and reach out if you have any questions!

Thanks Dragonfly.

I would also encourage all first timers (not a real fan of the word Virgins, as it has some connotations that might not fit) to do lots of research and most importantly talk to Burners in your local community. There is no "One Right Way" to do TTITD, and what works for one person might not work for you.

There's a First Timer's Guide on the Burning Man website that's quite good, and it's part of their larger Preparation section. There's also a massive ongoing discussion about Preparation on ePlaya, which I have found to be worth checking out.

There are few things Burners like to talk about more, so ask plenty of questions and then create your own Burn.
