Placement Fumbuckery / Future of Hushville

I'm surprised that this hasn't been brought up already, given the Placement emails going out, unless everyone is still as stunned as we are or there are a lot of backroom conversations going on. We knew Placement was up to no good... so now we are dipped in it. Do we have a plan to preserve Hushville? Are we going to become a hub, or is it even possible for us to consider functioning (maybe in name only) as one united theme camp? As a 2- to 3-person camp that is basically gayte's bitches, we can't survive on our own out there and LOVE all of our years with Hushville, and LOVE even more that we can now do activities on the shorefront FlashCube that work for our baby camp.

What has everyone else been thinking? I know there are many mini-camps like ours in Hushville.

Deadline is looming (2 days)...

There was a big discussion about this on reddit around a month ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BurningMan/comments/18h5mtt/damn_no_more_villages/

It seems that villages are being eliminated in favor of "Hubs" where each camp in the hub needs to apply for placement individually. It seems possible Hushville could become a big camp rather than a village. It's unclear. The reddit post even mentions Hushville (and Kidsville) as an example asking what will happen.
