The Crusty Swan--a New Camp--Needs a few good campers

Hi there!  I'm Brigit--Momma Swan--the founder and lead for The Crusty Swan.  We're a new camp in Hushville this year--but I am not new to Hushville!  Have been camping with the good people of our village for the last 4 years in Go The Fuck To Sleep.

This year I wanted to venture out and try something new.  The Crusty Swan will be an Irish "publet."  In other words---a teeny, tiny pub!  We hope to capture just a wee bit of the spirit of the old Dusty Swan (which several of us were members of).  If you remember the old Dusty Swan pub--it was a place to relax with friends and have a bit to drink--or just enjoy some craic (that's Irish for good natured bullshit), maybe play a game of checkers and get out of the sun for a bit--or sit for a time while out exploring the playa at night.

We also are planning some interactive events during the week--a "Senior Olympics," a Midnight Chair Toss, an Irish Music session in the Flash Cube and of course--a "flash camp," Cougar Camp (something I've been doing for the last 10 years!)

I'm limiting our camp size to 12 people so that it remains an intimate experience for our campers.  Right now we have room for 4 more campers.  There is no fee to camp with us other than bringing a couple of bottles of decent whiskey (we'll let you know what we consider decent!) for the pub's use.  We're just looking for some folks who like the idea of an intimate Irish pub-- who will willingly pitch in to help whenever needed--and have a great sense of humor!  If you are a musician that plays celtic/Irish music--that's a double plus!!!

If you are looking for a camp within Hushville to join and this sounds like your cup of tea (or your wee dram of whiskey) then drop me an email at;  brigitgoddess1@yahoo.com.  Slainte!
